About Me
Hi! My name is Nicole and I’m based in sunny Southern California. You’ll either find me relaxing with my cat, hiking on the trails, eating all the food, and always hitting the pavement or trails to get my running in. I currently work at a desk job, so my love for the outdoors is not only a privilege, but also a necessity. I’m a sunrise runner, so I start off my days with what I like to call my running therapy sessions.
I was not active as a kid, teenager, or young adult. I accidently found the love of running in 2012. My running career started off as a way to shed some pounds; my passion for running shortly followed. I ran my first half-marathon in 2013, where I finished with a time of 2:31:30. I have ran countless of half-marathons since then and have worked my way towards a PR of a 1:53. I also currently have 4 marathons under my belt. My goals are endless when it comes to running and so is passion for it.
My passion for the sport has led me to countless hours of reading, researching, learning and networking with other runners. I am a RRCA certified running coach. I am confident in my ability and knowledge to work with others to reach their running goals. My love for the movement, breath, sweat, and hard work that comes with running has had people come to me for running advice, encouragement, questions, and merely the conversation. Which is something that I am so grateful for. The exchange between running coach and runner is a wonderful experience. I take such joy in helping others reach their own unique goals in their running journey; where each step doesn’t only lead to one’s own finish line, but to a whole new start line- a place you can call your own.
